Another day and another leaflet handed out to staff by management. The central argument of this leaflet is that we may end up with less. What more is there to take? The organization has been decimated and staff keep leaving in droves and our services are being impacted as a result. Morale is at an all time low and people are having mental breakdowns at their desks. How can we end up with less…that doesn’t make rational sense. We have already lost everything, our job security, our community, our self-respect, our mental health, our physical health. A union gives us hope. It gives us hope for a brighter day.
