Hello Food Bankers!
We are happy to announce that we have reached an agreement on our first labor contract with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank! Congratulations to all of you that remained hopeful, were patient with the process, and entrusted your bargaining team with this important task. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve you and serve the mission of the Food Bank.
It took us about 1 year to reach this important milestone and we believe the organization will be better because of it. We can begin an era of fairness, stability, transparency, and equity.
In the coming days we will work on implementing this new contract to ensure that the entire organization and by extension, the communities are successful, healthy, and nourished.
