More leaflets continue to be pushed onto the staff by management. This anti-union message is interesting because most employees already know that union dues will be about $40/month, and most Food Bankers are okay with that. Why? Because paying $40 to have job protection, legal representation, and give us a united voice to force management to do better by the community we serve, is a cost we are willing to pay.

Without a union, food bankers are guaranteed to continue having paltry healthcare options, low paying jobs, unfair promotion processes, and so much more. At least with a union, we have a fighting chance. A union gives us hope. And Hope is worth so much more than $40/month.
